Step 2: Immediately take trash out to curb.

And trust me, if she’s a Training Station kid, you’ll soon enough find plenty of artwork you have to dispose of! Remember that it in no way makes you a bad Daddy.

Keep all her stuff, and every month or two you get her to check out which ones should be kept and which you can let go – she gets to keep control of what’s meaningful and you won’t have to keep everything. As an adult who enjoys painting I did the same with my own work after a year – it feels good.

The one milestone I didn’t mind saying “goodbye” to was the formula one. Milk and juice is SO much easier and cheaper!

Ask your Dad about dirt clod, and corn cob wars when he was a kid.

I am your Dad’s first cousin. His Uncle Skinny was my Dad. I found your website tonight and enjoyed seeing your photos of your Dad and Hugh and the “puppet” group photo of you and your cousins. My family is a bunch of goof balls too and we enjoys ourselves. I sure wish you could meet my son Daryl. He is the nut in my family. He is so much fun to be around. I last saw you and your brothers and the rest of your family at Aunt Dean and Uncle Eric’s 5oth wedding anniversary party. In the 1990′s. Oh come on. Surely you remember me!! (ha)

I’m sorry to sound uncaring, but I laughed out loud (literally) at your post.

And I must say (from experience) that it is a sad, sad day when we realize and finally accept that our best days (athletically speaking) are behind us.
