Welcome to the new blog site!

Thanks for following me here! WordPress allows bloggers to do more of the stuff I wanted in a blog. For instance, everyone can now respond to entries by posting comments–and you don’t have to set up an account or anything.  Just click on “Comments” below the post.  All you have to do is enter your name and email address–and don’t worry, your email address won’t show on the site.

Plus, MySpace just had a lot more stuff than I used. They had all these things I didn’t want or need, but didn’t have some of the basics I was looking for in a blog. I also didn’t like the fact that every time I went to MySpace, all these pictures of scantily-clad girls kept showing up on the screen. It kind of goes against the message I’m preaching a week from Sunday!

So anyway, thanks for following me here. I’m hoping that I can figure out how you can subscribe to this blog, so that new entries can automatically be sent to your email inbox. When I figure it out, I’ll let you know.

I’ll probably change the presentation of the blog once in a while, but for now, I’m digging the ancient text look.

    Hey, nice site. If anyone has firefox they can click on bookmarks and then click “subscribe to this page” to get auto-updates. I’m not sure how to get it to an email though.

    Love the site. Herbie and I were just reviewing it and laughing together. Hopefully he will see that our church is differnt then what he is used to and start his walk with Christ.
