This Sunday: Hollywood God!

At long last, after a long time of planning, we’re kicking off the “Hollywood God” series this Sunday!  It’s weird how after months of working on something, we can come down to the wire with a lot still left to do.

This Sunday the featured movie is The Pursuit of Happyness.  The clips are all pieced together and the message is largely done.  The trick will be making it flow smoothly during the worship service.

Tonight we’re having a family movie night and showing Ratatouille, which is the film we’re using next week.

“Hollywood God” is finally underway!

    Nathan,

    I attended Taylorsville UMC and the dinosaurs kind of made me feel unwelcone. Welll Damascus UMC is also filled with semi-dinasaurs, but I feel so much more welsome and wanted.
    “Hollywood God” would never make it in Taylorsville because the dinosaur they have as a Pastor (is not even fully ordained!) is not creative or even motivated to come up with the basic idea of a series of sermons.
