Hey! I’m Nathan Hyde and live on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. My wife and I, who are both teachers, have been married for most of this century and have one daughter. Things I enjoy include spending time with loved ones–especially my family and my students–studying the Bible, reading great books, going new places, Orioles baseball, and sitting in my recliner doing absolutely nothing. My favorite Bible verses are Joshua 1:9 and Leviticus 13:40.

Hello Nathan. I did not know you were a pastor. That’s wonderful to know.
Ask your Dad about dirt clod, and corn cob wars when he was a kid.
I am your Dad’s first cousin. His Uncle Skinny was my Dad. I found your website tonight and enjoyed seeing your photos of your Dad and Hugh and the “puppet” group photo of you and your cousins. My family is a bunch of goof balls too and we enjoys ourselves. I sure wish you could meet my son Daryl. He is the nut in my family. He is so much fun to be around. I last saw you and your brothers and the rest of your family at Aunt Dean and Uncle Eric’s 5oth wedding anniversary party. In the 1990’s. Oh come on. Surely you remember me!! (ha)
I need to close. I’m glad I found your site. Your cousin Kay

Hi Kay! My brothers and I always loved your dad. He was so funny! We still quote him sometimes. I remember Daryl from Uncle Arlon’s funeral. Truck driver, right?
Thanks for stopping by! So good to hear from you!

Hi Nathan, No, that was the wrong Daryl. Uncle Arlon and Aunt Roena had a son Darrel. My Daryl is 35 years old. If you want to see his photo, I’m not sure, but search staff of Vineyard Church, Lansing Mi.

Hi Nathan, No, That was the wrong Daryl. Uncle Arlon and Aunt Roena had a son Darrel. He was also a Baptist minister. He is now 70 years old.
My Daryl is 35 years old and is a lineman for the power company. If you want to see his photo, try to see if you can find it by searching– staff of Vineyard Church, Lansing Mi. His name is Daryl Johnson and the photo will be of Daryl and his wife Vicki.
I really enjoy reading the articles you write especially about little Miss Laura Marie. Your Nana Hyde’s Mother’s name was Laura. Your Laura Marie is growing up too fast. What a little doll you have.
I hope your ministry is going well. Tell your Dad I said hello.
Sorry I didn’t find your reply until now.
Bye for now. Cousin Kay
