Godspell @ Ebenezer’s

Yesterday Carolyn and I went to the National Zoo in Washington, D.C., then ate at Union Station and walked around the Capitol.  After that we hit Ebenezer’s Coffeehouse for some mocha–she got mint and I got white chocolate.  Mmm…..

Then we headed to the lower part of Ebenezer’s for National Community Church’s production of Godspell.  It was great!  The props and scenery were as simple as I’ve ever seen for a musical, but it worked to great effect.  Most of the production was lighthearted, entertaining, and funny–and several parts were downright hilarious.  But the parts that needed to be serious were serious and very well done.  It’s only showing a couple more days, but I’d definitely recommend it to anyone within driving range of the city.
