Ode to November

Aahhh, November. November is probably my favorite month. I like the dark, overcast, chilly, rainy days with the wind blowing and leaves falling. That might sound gloomy, but I find it peaceful. November is holiday season, with Thanksgiving arriving and Christmas on the way. It’s right in the peak of football season, following on the heels of World Series action. Carolyn gets a five-day break over Thanksgiving, so she gets some much-needed rest and we get to spend more time together. The pace of life slows down a little bit, in contrast to October, which for some reason seems to always be an extremely busy month.

Aahhh, November.
