Shorebirds & Sunburns

Today I went to the Shorebirds game with one of the dads from the Training Station, and with his three-year-old son.  I got my first sunburn of the year.  It was a sunny day, and it takes a long time to watch the Shorebirds give up 12 runs.

  1. Haha.. We went the 2nd day of their opening weekend. We had to leave once the Birds were down 15 or something crazy. Longest game ever and it was only the 6th inning.

  2. Wow! Sounds like maybe the mercy rule should be instituted in Minor League Baseball!

  3. The Engles must be good luck…both times we’ve gone, they WON! (Come to think of it, so did we…you know the $25. drawing they hold after the 7th inning?? That’s right! The Engles won it! We LOVE the Shorebirds!!) 🙂

  4. Wow, that’s cool! I’m not sure which is cooler, the Shorebirds winning both games or you guys winning the $25. I think I’d probably have to go with the $25. Looks like we’ll have to go with you guys next time we go to a game!
