Week One

Well, this was the first full week of the Training Station, the preschool here at CrossWay.  And–whew!–I’m worn out!  I can’t even imagine how exhausted the teachers must be!  During the week I only spent a little bit of time with the kids, but the teachers had them for hours.  Kids will wear you out, but they’re so much fun to be around!  I can already tell this will be a great year for the preschool.

Since Carolyn teaches kindergarten, she comes home every day with the funniest stories about the things her little kids say and do.  It’s cool because now I come home with little kid stories of my own!  We laugh pretty hard swapping tales.

One of the things I’ve enjoyed most about this week has been getting to know some of the parents.  I need to get better at names, though–I can match up the parents with their kids, and I know the kids’ names, but I don’t remember most of the parents’ names!
