Yesterday, All My Troubles Seemed… (Sike)

What a great day yesterday was!  After church, Carolyn and I ate at Zia’s in Salisbury with her parents, then we all headed over to the zoo.  It was such a perfect day for being outside!

Afterward we went to an event hosted by SonRise Church and the Ocean City Worship Center.  It was the closing celebration for the series they did together in September.  There were a ton of people there, lots of good food, and a concert by the band Unsearchable Riches.  But the best part was getting to spend some time with our friends from SonRise.

During the concert we sat with our good friends Roger & Katie and their two older kids (ages 5 and 2), Riley & Jenna.  They have got to be some of the most entertaining children in the world!  We had planned to just stop by the event for a few minutes to say hi to people, but ended up staying for a couple hours.

By the way, in the worship service yesterday where SonRise and the Worship Center joined forces, they packed out the high school auditorium with over 600 people!  Everyone we ran into yesterday kept talking about how awesome it was.  They said they definitely plan to do it again soon–the only problem will be finding a venue big enough!
