The past couple days Carolyn and I have been writing valentines for a bunch of kids. She’s been working on valentines for her students, and I’ve been working on them for the children at the Training Station.
It sure does bring back memories! It’s been over 20 years since I’ve done the whole valentine thing. Not until doing them as an adult did I realize how weird this tradition is–especially for two-, three-, and four-year-olds who can’t even read. But it sure is cute to see how much they’re getting into Valentine’s Day!
