Geek Squad Is On The Case

Yesterday I took my computer to the Geek Squad at Best Buy in Salisbury.  The first guy who looked at it said he’d seen the problem a couple times before.  Apparently the computer thinks it has about two dozen network cards.  The Geek Squad dude said it could be caused by a virus, and said he’d been able to fix the other two cases.  I left the computer with them to run a full diagnostic deal, so hopefully it’ll be all fixed up and ready today.  Unfortunately it went down about a month after the warranty expired, although this might end up being less expensive than an extended warranty.

Anyway, hopefully it will work again and I’ll be able to get back to daily blogging and keep up with email, the podcast, and all that stuff.
