I just got one of the best birthday presents ever.  All three morning preschool classes came by my office and sang “Happy Birthday” to me!  It was so precious.  They even gave me a card and a chocolate cake–which, by the way, really caught the kids’ attention.  What a wonderful way to start the day! On Saturday Carolyn and I had the first of our three childbirth classes.  This one was held in Salisbury, and the next two will be at a church that’s right across the street from our neighborhood (that’ll be nice!). The class was from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and there were seven other couples there.  Continue reading

Been slow on the blog this week.  I’ve been homebound with some kind of sick junk.  I just started an antibiotic so hopefully it’ll be gone in time for Sunday. I’m very grateful that I have the kind of job where I can still get work done even when I’m sick and stuck at home.  Continue reading
